Stoke Ash Primary School is located in Suffolk. The school is a very small one - we have 42 pupils from ages 4 - 11 at present. The school is surrounded by open countryside. Suffolk is one of the counties of the East Anglia region, on the Eastern side of the United Kingdom. During World War 2, many thousands of US airmen were stationed here as part of the Mighty 8th Air Force.
The children of Stoke Ash School have been studying the 34th bombardment group who were based at the nearby Mendlesham Airfield.
